Christmas 2024 - Tea with the Vicar & The State of the Anglican Church, Part 1

The other day, I had tea with my vicar.

He was, in many ways, the archetype of the trendy, left-leaning clergy we often hear about. He despised Trump, adored Harris, and seemed to revel in every modern “woke” trope imaginable. Intellectually, he was sharp—there’s no denying that—but I often wonder about the application of such intelligence. What good is it when it doesn’t seem to address the pressing issues facing humanity today, particularly in the spiritual and practical realms?

When I left our meeting, something struck me about the entire interaction. Theology? It hardly came up. Discussions about job creation or how the church could practically support struggling communities? Absent. Conversations about the dire state of the Anglican Church? Nowhere to be found.

Instead, the focus was on gender. Yes, gender theology.

At one point, the vicar asserted that angels have no gender. This led us into a broader discussion where he claimed God the Father doesn’t have a gender either. I found this fascinating because the same people who insist on the ungendered nature of God often refer to the Holy Spirit as female and attribute masculinity to the devil. The inconsistency is glaring. This selective application of gendered theology seems less about fostering understanding and more about advancing a woke agenda.

Women’s Ordination and the Internal Divide

As someone who attends a slightly traditional church, I’ve noticed a peculiar dynamic. Opposition to women’s ordination often doesn’t come from men, as many might assume. In fact, much of the resistance comes from women themselves.

When women’s ordination was first introduced, some of its strongest proponents were women who saw it as a step toward inclusivity while acknowledging inherent differences. They hoped to bridge divides, not deepen them. Yet today, the narrative has shifted. Dissenting women are labeled misogynists by the same radical left figures who claim to champion their rights. It’s profoundly hypocritical and deeply unsettling.

Final Thoughts

The Anglican Church faces countless challenges—declining attendance, financial struggles, and societal irrelevance among them. Yet, instead of addressing these pressing issues, the focus seems to be on divisive, performative topics like gender theology.

If the Church truly wishes to survive, it must return to its roots: faith, community, and action. These are the things that once gave it strength and relevance. It’s time to move past the trendy distractions and focus on what really matters.

The Scottish Nationalist Party (SNP)and their (future) immigration policy on refugees are a complete and total disaster.

She was actually on a show recently,  where she's openly said that she favoured unlimited, uncontrolled, immigration to Scotland!

This is a fact!  She's an idiot; a complete fucking nutjob! 

There's so many reasons to disagree with her, you almost cannot make this up. But she at least shows you what a complete fucking moron she is. 

I always have wanted to know, just how that would in reality work; this type of immigration "plan"?  Would everyone, presumably, just hop on the next Ryanair or Third World Airline, equipped with as many bags as possible, and literally just "show up" in the waiting arms of the SNP?  Because it seems to me after what this lunatic said this last week, that is EXACTLY what they mean, and would inevitably happen!

Honestly, would it be a hundred or a thousand a day, pouring into both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, presumably applying to stay, as in they wouldn't even need to fill-out their bogus asylum applications, or even pretend to be a "refugee"? 

This leads us to this person below; my Lord(!), there seems to be a never-ending amount of these parasites, just itching to get in where the white man is the majority, aren't there?

She's a filthy Third World mooch. She's not a refugee in any way, shape or form, is she? 

Well, she can fuck herself and go back to the first port of call. She came from Africa, went through Italy, where she's meant to claim that she is refugee. But even then, she should actually have done this in the nearest country in Africa!

Sorry, you cannot say where you want to be a refugee at. She then came over the Mediterranean, and went all the way through Europe, then came over on another boat to the UK.  And now, she wants to bring the rest of her family over here. The fucking pig.

Ah, but according to this rag of an article, by the filth in the MSM, she's "desperate".  They can fuck themselves as well!

She's apparently a devout church goer in the south of Glasgow, in the Gorbals.  Take a look at these utter nutjobs!, and in particular, their leaders!  Is it any wonder that no one goes to the Christian, liberal churches anymore!

What is deeply offensive, is the one idiot who actually has the audacity to be wearing a head covering!  Yeah, she's down there with it; down for the struggle!

No doubt Christ is actually rolling in his grave looking at these pieces of shit. Do they have any idea about the world and that their beliefs run contrary to normal people, at the same time, not knowing just how damaging, fundamentalist Islam IS?

Why more and more churches are irrelevant - The woke Church of England; I could vomit!

 

As we read a lot of of news aggregator sites, in addition, please bear with me a moment(!), to looking at the nauseating Microsoft news aggregator each day on my desktop, I do  try to comment on "smaller" articles, that show just how woke and awful parts of the Western world are nowadays.

I caught this one, concerning the very first female priests ordained in the Church of England, that is about none other than the Anglican church in England, and how they are destroying old plaques in order to put something  woke in their place.

That's right. Because the original plaque did not mention the original woman ordinands (There were nearly 30 of them FFS!), that that is now considered both sexist and further proof of the male patriarchy!

Instead of merely a factually correct plaque, that commemorates both the ceremony, as well as the leaders (who happened to be male), of that particular church service!

The freak who is actually carving the new plaque, and is now (Good God!) training to be a priestess, and looks to be filled with so much love (sic), is called Robyn Golden-Hann (Ah, a nice, double barrelled name.  Talk about vanity).  I quote (with bold being my emphasis):

“I feel very honoured to have done this. It will be one of my very last commissions as a professional stone carver so it is very poignant that this should be the work that marks my transition from one calling to another. . .”

". . . The only explanation (as to why no female names were on the original plaque) I’ve heard is that it was probably done in some haste. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just part of the patriarchal mentality of the time."

It is little wonder why the Church of England continues to haemorrhage members.

They're all at it! Even the Churches are Woketards!

Is it any wonder why that so many churches nowadays stand for literally nothing, and then expect people to be sat on their pews; with the result being that people simply have no desire to attend these "religious" services?  

If you look at some of the graphs in the above link, it's easy to tell that in a few years no one will be going to church.  In addition, as an interesting side note the only churches that are growing tend to be the non-woke "New Churches" (usually, heavily Evangelical), Pentecostal and Orthodox ones.

Attendances are shocking now, but to be perfectly honest they deserve to be.  I don't think I go to a church to be lectured by some leftist, woke, holier-than-thou twat; I go to hear about the grace of God, and how I am a fallen sinner but with grace will become the person Christ wishes me to be.

I'd say that it has little if anything to do with what I think a church should be, and hence the people like Robinson-Brown (I just LOVE all the double barrel surnames amongst certain BMEs nowadays - more on this later) are utterly meaningless to me and my beliefs.  

In it, he attempts to be profound, with the simply ridiculous paraphrasing in the description, about people "like him":

You can't make this stuff up!  I thought I'd heard of him, and naturally was correct.

This newly converted Methodist, to the Anglican Communion, is also the piece of shit, who condemned the clapping for Captain Sir Tom Moore in the last year.  And as with all racist, bigots, Brown doesn't think he's one, as I quote:
